The following is a series of Health Analytics projects/challenges that need to be pursued and developed. These are ideas that have been collected over the last decade.
- Datasets – to understand and make use of the academic/public health datasets in terms of what is being researched and making use of the entire knowledge from the dataset.
- EpiWriter – the automated writing of epidemiology and health services research academic papers based upon past papers published utilizing the same dataset.
- Patient Trajectories – new methods for examining and understanding patient trajectories and extended that knowledge outside of the acute care environment.
- MicroSimulation – simulation models that can be readily used for understanding health services delivery and public health interventions.
- The Prevalence Project – an automated approach for extracting Prevalence information from published abstracts and maintaining a new database to help in the dissemination of this information.
